A spectacular show of color splashed across the sky above the stadium as the Class of 2025 kicked off their senior year. Students were able to gather at the stadium, watch the sky change, enjoy some time together, and eat amazing donuts!
As a senior, I was able to kick off the last and final rodeo of high school with other classmates of the graduating class of 2025. Nothing meant more to me than watching the sun rise, and eating donuts with my best friend. The weather was beautiful, the small decorations were pretty, and everything came together so well. All together it was a beautiful and bittersweet day to start this school year!
Caleb Wedel, “ loved it!,” saying, “It definitely was memorable because of how beautiful and sentimental it was. I hope the other classes do it. We did it because it’s a tradition that a lot of people show up for. It’s a great way to start the year, especially after going the whole summer without seeing each other.” Each student has a different perspective of it, and they find ways to enjoy it, even if it was the smallest part of the entire event.
Nicole Helton stated, “Kinda seemed pointless. It was pretty boring. I couldn’t even really see the sunrise from the field and we were just kind of standing there.” You know, not everyone enjoys the little things and are just here to graduate and move on with their lives. We’ve made it through 13 years of education. We are finally on the last stride of school.
Hosting a senior sunrise for the senior classes is like you’re on a roller coaster, coasting up the hill to get to the top. It’s the start of a very exciting journey. Class of 2025 has finally made it to the finale.
