Imagine that you are taking a walk. A walk down the path of decision-making, looking back at all your past decisions, taking in the feelings and emotions, when all of a sudden the path splits into two paths. Down one, you get the opportunity to live your life extremely short. Down the other, you get the opportunity to live your life extremely tall. Which path would you choose?
There are many opinions revolving around this question regarding many things. But what exactly would be the best choice? Well, let’s find out.
Here’s some perks of being extremely tall:
- You can reach high places
- You won’t get called short
- More athletic benefits
- Low risk of diseases
However, there are always some downsides. Here’s some examples:
- Name called
- “How’s the weather up there?”
- Heat rises.. you’ll probably always be warm
- Less hiding places
Perks to being extremely short:
- Many hiding places
- Lower risk of certain diseases
- Front row for pictures
- Faster reaction time
Downsides of being extremely short:
- Could get trampled
- Cold
- Name called
- Less athletic
Let’s get some opinions from other people. When Staff Writer, Mady W. was asked “If you had the opportunity to be extremely short or extremely tall, what would you pick and why? She said “Extremely tall because I’m already short so I wanna be tall.” The next question I asked was “How would being tall change your day to day life?” Mady stated “I wouldn’t have to ask for help getting my plates out of the cabinet.” She made a very good point.
Let’s get an opinion from the other side, who would rather be short? When Staff Writer Lilly, “Would you rather be extremely tall or extremely short?” She stated “I wouldn’t wanna be a little little pers but I would rather be extremely short.” However, when asked what the perks of being short would be for her, Lilly said “I wouldn’t hit my head on everything.” That’s another very valid point.
However I would rather be extremely tall, I do agree they both have a very good point and their opinions matter. Though when I asked, extremely tall is what was answered more. After hearing these two opinions and seeing the perks and downfalls of both, what would you pick?
