Kennedy Joiner

If Kennedy Joiner could camp out all day, every day at one location on the OHS campus, she would most definitely be found in “the library [because] it’s so nice and cozy in there, and there’s TVs in there and chairs” where she could read all the books in the world. While this comes as no surprise to most people who know Kennedy, what might surprise some is that Kennedy best liked “second grade because we had this thing called The Second Grade Finale…After school one day there’s like bouncy castles, food, games. It was so fun!” Despite the noisiness of this once in a lifetime opportunity for second graders, it didn’t bother her as much as the noise of the high school intercom, saying, “Sometimes I’m like, what is going on? Why are you yelling on the intercom?” We can hope that Kennedy’s future career is somewhere that resembles a quiet, comfy library filled with books and no intercom.
