Rules for Flying

Rules+for+Flying

Recently, I have been super into watching those ‘go on vacation with me’ vlogs. As someone with little to no experience on planes, it was exciting to see how it really worked. I have only flown a couple times, and most of those times were when I was young, so I cannot remember my experiences too well. Also, I may fly by myself in the future, so I wanted to get a glimpse of what flying was like. I am one of those people who gets nervous easily, so planning a vacation by myself would stress me out. These videos have taught me some tips. First, make a list of everything you are going to bring. Making a list lets you get some stress off, but make a list at least one week prior to your vacation! This gives you time to double check anything you might have missed. Secondly, make sure you check how much luggage your ticket allows you to carry–the extra fees can sometimes be expensive. Lastly, try to plan your days (or at least the most important days). These are very simple tips that you have probably heard before, but they are key to your vacations.

About the Contributor
Montana Walters, Staff Reporter
Montana has always questioned who she is. When she was younger, she was obsessed with anything Disney, Barbie, and video games. But now Montana finds herself struggling to figure out what she is truly passionate about. She likes specific movies but expresses that even that passion fades after a while. One thing, though, has always stuck with Montana: writing. Throughout her life, she would write a lot of short stories. Most of them, she admits, were not up to par, but she slowly grew as a writer. Montana studied grammar and found herself getting better grades on essays in school. Montana says that this skill she gained helps qualify her as a news writer, as she can structure her writing better.
