SOTO’s Pros and Cons of AMI Days

Pro’s and Con’s of These AMI Days

It is the middle of January of another new year at Osage. I’m quite sure a wide variety of us SOTO students were either stuck in the house, bored or just worried about doing all of our homework. Three cons of these AMI days would be the fact that we did not see our school friends, we were stuck inside the house, and we had all “homework” due by the end of the day it was published. Doing so helps count as your attendance. However, the pros outweigh the cons. Here are four pros of these AMI days: we could sleep in longer, we had an opportunity for procrastination, we didn’t have to wait to eat, and we could be on our devices. On top of our school already having Mondays off, I’m positive that SOTO’s students were thankful that we did the AMI days instead of adding on extra in-person days to the schedule and having to make up for the snow days.
