Skyler Hutzler

Skyler Hutzler looks up to his dad in many aspects of his life. He chooses his dad because he has shown Skyler “the Outdoors, and I’ve always loved to do the things he loved to do.” Skyler tells us that his dad is the reason Skyler is choosing his career path to be outdoors. While he doesn’t shy away from anything outdoors, Skyler does have a fear:  car accidents. One particular accident has taught Skyler to “pay more attention and be more aware while driving.” For the most part, Skyler was responsible for fixing his own vehicle, but admits that he relies on his parents, too. They are two people Skyler cannot live without. Skyler often goes to his parents for any questions he may have.

Maddy Meyer
Maddy Meyer, Staff Reporter
Maddy Meyer is a 17-year-old news writer at Osage High School. She enjoys music, watching and attending sporting events, and traveling the world. Maddy is a manager for the Osage High School wrestling team, something that she has done for all four years of her high school career. She states, "It [being a manager] keeps me pretty busy, but I wouldn't change it at all." After high school, Maddy plans to attend a community college and major in dental hygiene. She has chosen a community college because "it will be much cheaper and faster in the long run." She likes the possibility of being able to complete college in three years while still being close to home.
