Megan Smithson loves the idea of being able to fly, and wishes that one day she is able to do so. If Megan became deserted on an island there are five things she would not forget to bring with her and these items would be “my phone, a solar powered generator, a pool of water, a big sun hat, and a fully furnished home.” Megan says that Osage has fully prepared her for her next chapter in life at college. She tells us “I am glad I have a lot of my credits out of the way thanks to dual credit classes.”

Maddy Meyer, Staff Reporter
Maddy Meyer is a 17-year-old news writer at Osage High School. She enjoys music, watching and attending sporting events, and traveling the world. Maddy is a manager for the Osage High School wrestling team, something that she has done for all four years of her high school career. She states, "It [being a manager] keeps me pretty busy, but I wouldn't change it at all."
After high school, Maddy plans to attend a community college and major in dental hygiene. She has chosen a community college because "it will be much cheaper and faster in the long run." She likes the possibility of being able to complete college in three years while still being close to home.
