Zoe Jones

When remembering the past, Zoe Jones remembers some of her school activities. She remembers how much she enjoyed the DECA experience as a whole and how she got to go to Kansas City for State. Some part of her regrets not joining DECA earlier in her high school career, but is thankful for the experience of it during her senior year. She also remembers any team sport she experienced throughout her school career. While reflecting, when she is older she hopes to see herself owning her own piece of land and being financially stable. When asked if she believes that school helped her with her path going forward, she felt that school helps open paths to prepare people for college but not necessarily to directly help her.

About the Contributor
Montana Walters, Staff Reporter
Montana has always questioned who she is. When she was younger, she was obsessed with anything Disney, Barbie, and video games. But now Montana finds herself struggling to figure out what she is truly passionate about. She likes specific movies but expresses that even that passion fades after a while. One thing, though, has always stuck with Montana: writing. Throughout her life, she would write a lot of short stories. Most of them, she admits, were not up to par, but she slowly grew as a writer. Montana studied grammar and found herself getting better grades on essays in school. Montana says that this skill she gained helps qualify her as a news writer, as she can structure her writing better.
