What Did I Do Over the Snow Days?

Going back to school is a struggle, especially after all these out-of-school-for-weather days. So, I am going to talk about what I did over those AMI “snow days.” On Friday, I took it as a rest day. I slept in until about 11:30am and basically relaxed until noon. I ate and did most of my homework for that day. Later, I took a shower and read. On Saturday, I cleaned my room because my friends were coming over later in the day. Then, I got ready, and they came over around 5:30 pm. We went to Chili’s for dinner and watched a movie after. We saw Mean Girls, and I’d rate it a solid 5/10. It wasn’t bad, but it was not super good either. Afterwards, we went to McDonald’s and got ice cream even though it was super cold outside. I’m going to skip over Sunday because nothing really happened. On Monday, I had to go to the dentist. I had to get a cavity filled, and afterwards I was SO tired. I honestly wasn’t expecting a snow day on Tuesday, but I used the opportunity to stay up late. I basically used that as a rest day as well and was sad to go back to school the next day.

    About the Contributor
    Montana Walters, Staff Reporter
Montana has always questioned who she is. When she was younger, she was obsessed with anything Disney, Barbie, and video games. But now Montana finds herself struggling to figure out what she is truly passionate about. She likes specific movies but expresses that even that passion fades after a while. One thing, though, has always stuck with Montana: writing. Throughout her life, she would write a lot of short stories. Most of them, she admits, were not up to par, but she slowly grew as a writer. Montana studied grammar and found herself getting better grades on essays in school. Montana says that this skill she gained helps qualify her as a news writer, as she can structure her writing better.
