My personal column topic this week is Winners of the Week. Continuing the cheer theme, I will be selecting two of my favorite teams in all of cheer.
The first team I have selected is a world’s team. They are well-known and loved all over. This Large All-Girl cheer team is from Cheer Extreme, named Senior Elite. Senior Elite has been a favorite team of mine since I started cheering which is why they are the first team on my list.
The next team I have chosen is another very well-known team and may even be known by most non-cheerleaders. This world’s team is from Top Gun. They are a Large Coed team called TGLC, Top Gun Large Coed. These teams typically have a theme that their routine revolves around and uniforms to match. For example, last year they were the EMTG’s, an EMT theme.
These cheer teams have routines that are sure to amaze anyone who watches. They combine advanced tumbling, stunting, motions, and a dance that is very aggressive and clean and that is why they are Winners of the Week.
