    FCCLA Lock-in

FCCLA held a lock-in recently and I attended. First, I walked in and watched my friend Hunter retry to set up Fortnite. Then, Tessa and I went on an adventure around the school. WE got bored so we went back and had some food. Later, Hunter and I ran up and down the stairs (I don’t know how he convinced me). After we ran we played hide and seek and won. It was annoying though because the person seeking us gave up. We went to the library after and had a karaoke/dance party. Then, I took an hour nap and when I woke up, my friends were watching a movie. I joined them until it was time for breakfast. We had pancakes and bacon. When I was done, I cleaned up and went home to take a long nap.

    About the Contributor
    Montana Walters, Staff Reporter
Montana has always questioned who she is. When she was younger, she was obsessed with anything Disney, Barbie, and video games. But now Montana finds herself struggling to figure out what she is truly passionate about. She likes specific movies but expresses that even that passion fades after a while. One thing, though, has always stuck with Montana: writing. Throughout her life, she would write a lot of short stories. Most of them, she admits, were not up to par, but she slowly grew as a writer. Montana studied grammar and found herself getting better grades on essays in school. Montana says that this skill she gained helps qualify her as a news writer, as she can structure her writing better.
